Important information
Ingredients
Masala Paste: Onion (31%), Tomato (23%), Refined Sunflower Oil, Curd (8%), Garlic, Coriander Leaves, Ginger, Water, Iodized Salt, Spices (Red Chilli, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Clove), Mint Leaves, Lime Juice. Oil: Spice Extracts, Refined Sunflower Oil, Mono & Diglycerides of Fatty Acid (INS 471).
Directions
Wash and soak 250 g of seeraga samba rice for 20-30 minutes. In a pressure cooker, add the 250 g biryani paste and cook on a low flame for a minute. Add 500 g protein or veg of your choice, mix well, and cook for 1 minute. Add 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) water and bring to a boil. Strain the soaked rice and add it to the cooker. Check salt and adjust if needed. Cover and cook on medium flame for 2 whistles, then turn off the flame. Let the steam reduce gradually and rest (remaining steps partly obscured by glare). Open the seasoning and mix into the biryani rice. Serve hot.
