It is perfect for seasoning sushi rice and is made from fermented rice in Japan, offering a uniquely mild and mellow taste. It is versatile and can be used for making sushi, adding depth to salad dressings like ginger and sesame dressing, or using in marinades to reduce strong odours from fish and meats. To use, simply add 2 tablespoons to one cup of hot, freshly steamed rice for a delightful taste.
